ByteHaven Ltd is an Isle of Wight* based company specialising in the development of websites and allied work. The company aims to provide a professional, personalised and individual service. The focus of skills is on the development of accessible standards compliant sites (HTML or XHTML) with a good separation between content (your words), appearance (layout, fonts, etc - CSS) and behaviour (JavaScript). Server-side skills focus mainly on MySQL database and PHP programming language. Main development tools: Dreamweaver, Homesite, NetBeans, TopStyle, Fireworks.

ByteHaven also provides hosting, should that be a requirement.

If you find that you are not satisfied with your website, then you may claim a refund (you simply provide your reasons in writing and you ensure none of the related work done by ByteHaven Ltd is accessible to users). A similar arrangement exists for hosting.

Part of ByteHaven's search engine optimisation service includes the listing of client sites (on this and allied sites). Please let us know if you would like changes to the link text (or if you would prefer not to be included).

Services that form part of a well-designed website include cross-browser checking (to make sure that your pages look as you expect in different browsers), validation and, where appropriate, security. All of these services can add significantly to development time, but the extent to which you need them will depend on the nature of your site. At ByteHaven we adopt a pragmatic approach based on the 80:20 rule of thumb. You decide how much you want to invest in these aspects of your site.
